Facility Lead

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Responsible for front of house customer service, hospitality and the day to day administration of our building which houses people working for the Wise Group www.wisegroup.co.nz

The role

We have a vacancy for a Facility Lead to work in our Manukau office. For us, our office isn’t just a place where we support the wellbeing of people, families and communities, it’s our home. It’s where we welcome people using services and stakeholders and look to delight them with our hospitality, service and facilities. Creating that wow factor for staff and visitors alike is at the heart of this key role and requires a special personality to bring that vision to life.

You’ll be the face that greets everyone through the door at Harakeke House and be the go-to person for coordinating hospitality functions, setting up meeting rooms, coordinating catering and during the day making sure the shared areas are clean and tidy. You’ll thrive at multitasking, be a super-efficient and ultra-professional, you’ll anticipate and ensure our building and facilities are maintained to a dazzling standard and comply with all regulatory stuff (like health and safety). It’s a role where the little things are just as important as the big things and your attention to detail, time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities will really set you apart.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, 40 hours per week.

This role will sit under Workwise, which is part of the Wise Group, a family of charitable organisations and is one of the largest providers in the New Zealand mental health and addiction sector. The Wise Group spans health and wellbeing services, employment and navigation services, education and training, workforce development and research, information services and software development, philanthropy and finally business support services.

You

A people person, your front-of-house, hospitality and administrative experience has equipped you with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, an appreciation of different cultures and the maturity to build positive relationships at various levels.

You’ll also:

  • have good decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • be a team player
  • happy taking on the mundane as well as the challenging
  • be able to anticipate needs and identify opportunities to ensure everything around you runs smoothly
  • have great Microsoft office skills

The Covid-19 Public Health (Vaccination) Order requires the full vaccination of anyone conducting high-risk work in the health and disability sector, or who does not necessarily provide a health service but works in a role that requires frequent contact/engagement with those who do. Therefore all workers within the Wise Group are required by the Order to be vaccinated.
