Health Care Assistants - Casual Positions

We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants to join our Inpatient Unit team on a casual basis.

The successful applicants will assist our team of Registered/Enrolled Nurses to deliver high quality care to older people who are experiencing significant distress due to living with dementia or have an acute mental health problem.

You need to have good communication skills, a calm and empathic approach, flexibility and the ability to be creative in your care approach.

The service provides care over a 24-hour rostered shift pattern and you need to be able to work all rostered duties on a casual basis.

An essential requirement for this position is a NZQA Health Care Assistant Programme Level 4 Certificate.
