Manager - Integrated Community Mental Health (Nelson/Tasman)

We have an exciting career opportunity for a senior and experienced Mental Health clinician to lead our multi-disciplinary community mental health services for the Nelson and Tasman region. You will be highly motivated, have an engaging leadership style, and an ability to foster innovation and motivate a team. 

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, multi-disciplinary services to our patients with various Mental Health needs; working in partnership with patients, their families, the clinical team and community supports to achieve the best possible health outcomes for our patients.

You will have a critical role in leading and supporting the service to continue to actively engage in our current integration programme. You will have proven expertise in leading service development and in partnering with colleagues in primary and community care, clinical services and with cross sector agencies, to achieve person and whānau centred integrated models of care.

Reporting to the General Manager - Mental Health, Addictions and Disability Support Services (DSS), and as a senior member of the Mental Health and Addictions leadership team, you will operationalise the core values of Nelson Marlborough Health and play a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives.

To succeed in this role the successful applicant must have:

extensive experience in community Mental Health service provision
understanding of the health environment, right across the system
proven ability to manage and motivate a team
ability to function at a high level in the contemporary health environment in New Zealand
current NZ Registration and Practising Certificate, with no limitations.
