Mental Health Assistants or Enrolled Nurses required to join our 3 Adult Inpatient Wards
About the service:
The mental health and addictions service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. We are a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomes to tāngata whai ora and whānau in our region. We know how important strong relationships are; with people who access our services, with their whānau and with the communities we serve.
About the role:
The role includes working under the direction and supervision of the charge nurse manager, associate charge nurse manager and registered nurse, assisting with aids to daily living. You will support the service user / Tangata Whaiora to gain stability in their mental health, whilst supporting a recovery pathway.
Required skills & experience:
To be successful to in this role you must have previous experience working in a health care setting in New Zealand. Preference will be given to those who have achieved health related NZQA unit standards.
Enrolled Nurses need to have a current annual practicing certificate.
Successful applicants will be expected to be available to work a variety of shifts including night shifts.
