Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist who not only embraces their creativity but thrives on providing high quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to the community

The Occupational Therapist is a key contributor to our multidisciplinary team and is integral to the assessment and care planning for individuals and whanau. The main clinical responsibilities of this role will be the provision of Occupational Therapy to whanau living within our supported residential environments.

Ngā pūkenga, ngā tohu ōu - What you will need to have

  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Registration with appropriate body (OTBNZ)
  • Passion to work within a Māori Health and/or Mental Health and Addictions setting.
  • Flexible and approachable manner
  • Confidence working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Professional approach
  • Ability to work with individuals providing high quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services
  • Work with basic IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally

Me toka pūmau ēnei - Applicants MUST have

  • Relevant Occupational Therapy bachelor's degree
  • Current OT registration
  • A clean and full NZ driver licence and a clean police record
  • Have NZ Permanent Visa or Citizenship
  • May be required to consent and undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
