We’re looking for a Registered Health Professional to join our Pathways Mental Health and Addictions services here in the Wairarapa.
You’ll be working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm, and based in Masterton.
Our clinicians support people experiencing acute mental health issues to improve their physical health and wellbeing through providing group and individual programs. We work to ensure clinical interventions are recovery focused, strengths based, and person centered with a health education focus. The service promote self-management skills and connect people with appropriate community services. Previous mental health and addictions experience is preferred.

You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach for the Community Mobile Service and working within the Addictions and Mental health teams in the community.
We are interested to hear from candidates who are NZ health professionals, preferably an OT, but will also consider Nurse (must be able to work in mental health), or Social Worker.
You’ll be known for your caring, friendly and approachable manner and be passionate about your professional role and identity. You’ll have a non-judgmental approach to working within a diverse population. A real team player, you’ll be an excellent communicator and the sort of person who brings fun and laughter to your work environment. You’ll thrive in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment where your skills and knowledge are valued and respected by your colleagues.
• You are a great listener, the sort of person who will listen deeply to the people who use our services
• You are a fresh thinker, using curiosity and imagination to generate new ideas
• You are energizing, inspiring others with enthusiasm and a take action approach
• You will need to be able to work collaboratively with support workers and other stake holders.
• You have a current full New Zealand drivers licence.
• Knowledge of the Wairarapa health and social service sector would be advantageous.
