Make a difference with MOKO, Mental Health Services, Waitematā DHB.
Whītiki Maurea is a Māori clinical service within the Waitematā DHB Specialist Mental Health and Addictions Service Group. We provide clinical treatment in mental health and addictions with a kaupapa Māori (cultural values and concepts) approach.
The purpose of the Occupational therapist role is to provide case management and Occupational therapy interventions which recognize pumanawa (talents), enhance mana (power & authority), optimize hauora (health) and reduce the risk of relapse. The care is based on comprehensive assessments, collaborative recovery plans and supports programme delivery in collaboration with Taurawhiri (Cultural Advisors.)
We are looking for an experience OT that has care co-ordination experience and Community Mental Health Case Manager experience.
You will need;
- Full Driver licence
- New Zealand Registered Occupational Therapist
- Current practicing certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Mental health services
