Operational Lead Ōtepoti

Comcare is a Mental Health and Housing provider offering a rich and diverse range of Mental Health Support Services, Housing and Housing Support Services. In partnership with Te Whatu Ora Southern, Comcare is well underway establishing services in Ōtepoti Dunedin supporting people who need unique and tailored support responses. 

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for working in the Social Services Sector and is seeking to make a tangible difference in the community. As Operational Lead you will continue to operationalize and further the development of a sustainable service in Ōtepoti, ensuring that Comcare is positioned to best respond to client and stakeholder needs and sector opportunities.

People leadership and management is crucial in this role, providing support to the team to develop and grow whilst encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

Relocation assistance to move to Dunedin can be provided. 

About you

 Applicants for this role would need to have proven experience working at a management level and in operational development improvement and service enhancement. You will have strong interpersonal skills and ideally a thorough knowledge of the Mental Health/Social Services support systems.

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a positive and understanding approach along with a passion to help others.  You will have the ability to inspire and work alongside the team and the flexibility to jump in where needed.

You will also have a cultural awareness, knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. 

Applicants for this position will need to have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. You will need a current full NZ Drivers Licence.
