People and Culture Projects

Are you passionate about our community? Do you want to utilise your HR skills and knowledge in a rewarding role within a collaborative and supportive team?

You will have the opportunity to work within our passionate People & Culture team, contributing to a range of projects, and delivery of the P&C programme of work. You will utilise your experience and knowledge of contemporary HR business practices, along with your expertise in reporting and analytics to provide outstanding support and guidance to our team.

About the role …

  • Contribute and deliver on new and existing projects, as the organisation grows and adapts to sector developments
  • Deliver on a range of P&C initiatives that may include; organisational strategy, annual and strategic planning and monitoring metrics to have visibility over all aspects of performance
  • Contribute to talent development including leadership development, diversity & inclusion and succession planning as well as the performance management framework, and remuneration/benefits strategy.
  • Working with the P&C team to promote a culture where people are recognized and acknowledged for their achievements.
  • 15-20 hours per week for up to 12 months fixed term with some flexibility.

About you …

  • Passionate about what you do and committed to Taikura values
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to foster effective relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information from multiple and diverse sources
  • Strong organisation skills, a positive outlook, and a can-do attitude to problem solving
  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR (or similar experience), strong knowledge of current NZ employment legislation, and experience in reporting and analytics.
