Psychologist – Te Roopu Kimiora (0.6FTE) – Whangārei - Fixed term to 29 May 2026

About the Role

Start your journey with Health New Zealand – right now we are looking for an exceptional Registered Psychologist who has experience in Child and Adolescent mental health and addiction, as well as experience or understanding of our Te Tai Tokerau rangatahi population.

This is a part time (24 hours per week) role based in Whangarei for a fixed term period ending 29 May 2026.

Te Roopu Kimiora is a secondary care mental health service seeing young people/rangatahi 0-18 years old who have severe to moderate mental health concerns. We work closely alongside the young person and their whānau to achieve goals that are set collaboratively so they can live to their fullest potential.

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

· Be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board

· Provide a high standard of clinical psychology practice and expertise

· Working knowledge and commitment to Tikanga.

· Working knowledge of key child and adolescent issues and psychopathology.
