Are you an experienced AOD practitioner looking to join a dynamic and friendly team? Our community based team in Whangarei currently have a full time opportunity available.
This unique role is placed within the Te Ara Oranga methamphetamine focus team. Te Ara Oranga is a highly successful service offering support to those with methamphetamine use issues and focuses on group delivery to those who want to address their substance use.

Applicants will preferably have experience in the alcohol and drug field and/or have a recognised qualification and registration in alcohol and drug studies, counselling, social work, or nursing.
This role offers opportunities which include case management, assessment, monitoring, varied group work, liaison across the health sector and some travel to rural areas within Whangarei. Applicants need to possess a willingness to professionally develop and be a positive team member. A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel is essential.
