Pathways

We're passionate about supporting people with experience of mental illness or addictions - we’ve been dedicated to it for 30 years. We provide community-based mental health, addiction and wellbeing services throughout New Zealand, supporting around 6000 adults and young people in communities all through New Zealand each year to live well in the communities of their choice.

Our staff are our greatest asset. So, one of our top priorities is to recruit an incredible local team of people who are as passionate as we are about supporting people experiencing mental illness to live well in the Nelson Marlborough community

The role

We’re looking for two New Zealand registered health professionals - nurses to join our local Nelson and Marlborough service teams.

Vacancy 1: Full time: Tuesday-Saturday 1.00pm-9.30 pm

Vacancy 2: Part time: Sunday- Monday 1.00pm -9.30pm

Our registered health professionals support people experiencing mental illness to identify and meet their individual health and social care needs and support them to re-connect with community services and take control of their own lives. These positions report to the relevant team coach.

About you

You’ll be known for your caring, friendly and approachable manner and be passionate about your professional role and identity. You’ll have a non-judgmental approach to working within a diverse population. A real team player, you’ll be an excellent communicator and the sort of person who brings fun and laughter to your work environment. You’ll thrive in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment where your skills and knowledge are valued and respected by your colleagues.

You’ll have experience and a qualification in a health-related field and be a registered nurse with ability to work in mental health. You’ll definitely hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence.

Words we use to describe our attributes as an organisation include courageous, curious, optimistic, compassionate, joyful, tenacious, creative and connectors. You’ll relate wholeheartedly to this list and share our people-focused values.

The Covid-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 requires staff working in health-related services to be fully vaccinated (this includes any subsequent boosters). As a provider we are responsible for ensuring all of our employees are vaccinated and boosted as per the mandate and employees are responsible for ensuring we have access to this information

The Benefits

Our full time team members can look forward to flexible work arrangements, extra leave, income protection insurance, subsidies for school holiday childcare and a great team around you every day working in an organisation that believes in its purpose. Be part of a supportive work environment where life balance is encouraged, people are valued and new solutions are the norm!
