Registered Health Professional

We are looking for a Registered Health Professional to join our dynamic and innovative team.  The focus is to deliver high quality care to the growing population in the Bay of Plenty.    

Applications are welcome from registered health professionals with at least three years’ experience of working in mental health to join the Acute Care Team based in Tauranga.  (Registered Nurses' Scope of Practice must include Mental Health).


This position will support a positive team environment.  Crisis workers will make timely accurate acute assessments and short term therapeutic engagement with the intent of:

  • Provision of advice and assistance
  • Resolution of the mental health crisis
  • Facilitating transition along the care pathway for service-users and their families
  • Linking consumers to primary care providers and appropriate community agencies
