Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive, friendly multidisciplinary team within the Adult Community Mental Health Service here at the Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB).

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week.

Our South team at the BOPDHB provides quality Mental Health Community Care to the Adult population of Papamoa, Mount Maunganui, Welcome Bay and Te Puke. The team consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Registered Health Care Workers comprising of Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

The ideal applicant would have a minimum of three years’ experience in Mental Health, including Community based care. You need to be willing to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for teammates who are passionate about lifelong learning in this field and are willing to ask questions.
