Ward 11, Wakari Hospital


  • Parental leave cover, possibly up to 24 April 2022
  • Part-time (32 hours per week)
  • Variety in your nursing role - mental health, physical, and social assessment and treatment skills

About the team

Ward 11 Rehabilitation/Transition Mental Health unit is a 16 bed inpatient unit working with those on their mental health recovery journey.

About you

Bring your exceptional communications skills, non-judgmental manner and positive attitude and join the team at Ward 11, an Inpatient Mental Health rehabilitation/sub-acute setting based at Wakari Hospital, Dunedin, for adults who have a long term mental illness and co-existing problems.

You'll bring to this role experience working within an adult mental health environment and having additional clinical skills in the areas of physical health and addictions could be a significant advantage.

To be considered you must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current annual practising certificate with a scope that allows you to practice in mental health and holding a full clean driver's licence.
