We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Pathways Wellington Health and Wellbeing Facilitation Team.
This is a permanent, full-time position. We have two possible shifts. Please indicate in your cover letter which of the two shifts you prefer.
Tuesday – Saturday 8.00am – 4:30pm with some flexibility.
Sunday – Thursday 8.00am- 4.30pm with some flexibility.
Our Registered Nurses support people experiencing mental illness and staff working with them to identify and meet individual health and social care needs and support them to re-connect with community services and take control of their own lives. The role of our nurses is to provide expert clinical guidance to ensure that all health care needs are being addressed.
This role is to work at all three different Crisis Respite services Pathways has in Wellington. The role is to screen physical health of the people we support and liaise with other relevant organizations, as well as support Support Workers to manage crisis situations.

We are interested to hear from candidates who are registered as a Nurse, someone who has the ability to support and inspire a team, and ideally has experience in mental health.
You’ll be known for your caring, friendly and approachable manner and be passionate about your professional role and identity. You’ll have a non-judgmental approach to working within a diverse population. A real team player, you’ll be an excellent communicator and the sort of person who brings fun and laughter to your work environment. You’ll thrive in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment where your skills and knowledge are valued and respected by your colleagues.

- You have great interpersonal skills, skills in group work, and a can do attitude
- You have the ability to practice autonomously and to identify areas in a work setting where nursing skills can be applied
- A full clean NZ driver’s license
