Where you’ll be working: Mental Health Service for Older People – OPR1 – Waikato Hospital
The details: Permanent – 80 rostered per fortnight


We are offering an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team working in the Mental Health for Older People setting on OPR1.

About the service:
The mental health and addictions service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. We are a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomes to tāngata whai ora and whānau in our region. Nga iwi Ngakaunui - people at the heart is demonstrated best in mental health and addictions, people really are at the heart of all that we do. We know how important strong relationships are; with people who access our services, with their whānau and with the communities we serve.

About the role:
We take great pride in the holistic care we provide for our service users working alongside family and whanu to provide the best of care.  

Required skills & experience:
• enjoy working as part of a caring multi-disciplinary team
• identify with our values below
• have a strong Service User focus
• have experience in aged care
• have good communication skills
• are willing to participate in professional development activities.
