Are you a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with a passion to support the health and wellbeing of people with disabilities?
With regular contact and oversight by our highly experienced clinical team, you will be involved in a number of exciting opportunities to build on your clinical skills and knowledge including:
- Developing national consistency related to infection control processes and systems
- Working remotely to support service delivery teams using a variety of technology including telephone and video meetings, internal databases, and resources
- The organisational COVID-19 response
This is not a clinical hands-on role, but one that utilises your clinical knowledge to ensure the safety of the people we support and our staff.
This permanent full-time role can be based anywhere in New Zealand and would suit an entry-level RN, or an EN looking to work in the disability sector. You will be provided with opportunities to grow your clinical skills and knowledge while making a real impact on people in our communities with physical and intellectual disabilities.
You will bring:
- Current APC with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Previous experience working in a Community setting and with clients who have high and complex needs (would be an advantage)
