We’re all about transforming mental health and addictions through our Pathways (adult) and Real (youth) services. In fact, we’ve been doing it for 30 years, supporting around 6,000 people each year.

We’re looking for an exceptional senior manager to take the reins and support our community-based mental health, addiction and wellbeing services in Auckland.

Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

As the Service and Relationship Manager in Auckland, you’ll be reporting to the Regional General Manager, and be part of a wider national group of Service and Relationship Managers who form the Pathways and Real leadership group.

In this role you’ll lead and inspire your team coaches to build highly engaged teams that deliver their best for our community-based mental health, addiction and wellbeing services.

Services include our youth services under our Real brand, Pathways community mobile, respite and residential services.

You'll work side by side with our clinical partners, developing and strengthening our integrated work to better care for those that we support.

This role also supports our General Manager to meet local community needs, which means your strengths in strategic planning and relationship building will be highly valued. It will be a bonus if you have existing connections in Auckland.

This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm, based in Auckland, and includes a second on-call component.

You | Mōu

This is a clinical role, so you’ll have a current NZ registration as a nurse (able to work in mental health), occupational therapist, social worker or psychologist, with previous experience as a senior manager/leader, preferably within the mental health and addictions sector, knowledge of the wider health and social sectors, and be focused on providing person-centred care.

As a leader you inspire those around you to be at their best and enjoy supporting your team to flourish and grow in their roles. As well as being passionate about the team you lead, you’ll also be passionate about evolving our services. You’re innovative and resilient – an influencer of change.

You’ll be comfortable navigating the complex things because you’re skilled with budgets and contracts and enjoy setting direction through strategic planning.
