The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is seeking a Specialist Eating Disorder Clinician to join our vibrant multi-disciplinary CAMHS Youth Team at the Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB).
This is a permanent full-time position and based in Tauranga.
Applicants must have Mental Health included in their Scope of Practice and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience working with children, adolescents and their whānau alongside being up to date with the ANZAED practice and training standards for mental health professionals providing eating disorder treatment (Hurst et al., 2020).
If you are the successful applicant, you will bring teamwork and initiative and be a part of a team committed to providing evidence-based treatment to young people experiencing an eating disorder, supported by fortnightly FBT supervision and alternating fortnightly case consultation with our New Zealand Eating Disorder Clinic (NZEDC, Auckland) supervisors. You will also join other eating disorder specialists who pride themselves in supporting their peers. All whilst being based in the beautiful Bay of Plenty renowned for its sun, surf and activities for all walks of life.
