We have a full-time role available based in our Pathways Flat Bush Respite team, you will be working Friday - Monday, weekly rotational AM/PM shifts.
Week 1: Friday – Monday, 7.00am – 3:30pm
Week 2: Friday – Monday, 3.00pm – 11:30pm
As a support worker your role will be supporting people towards independent living and with their medication. You might be supporting them to access the resources they need to live well and assist them towards building resilience into their lives. You will be assisting people to connect with their communities and building relationships that matter most, and you’ll need to be prepared to do whatever it takes to make the biggest difference.

You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Flat Bush Respite team, working in a team of Support Workers – all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental distress.
We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery focused way, you will be able to provide medication support for our people and have impeccable attention to detail.
- You must hold a current full drivers licence
- Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or currently working towards it.
- Preferred experience in mental health and/or crisis respite setting
The Covid-19 Public Health (Vaccination) Order requires the full vaccination of anyone conducting high-risk work in the health and disability sector, or who does not necessarily provide a health service but works in a role that requires frequent contact/engagement with those who do. Therefore all workers within the Wise Group are required by the Order to be vaccinated.
