About Us
Project Restore NZ is the specialist national provider of restorative justice for sexual harm cases. We have a contract with the Ministry of Justice to deliver restorative justice processes within the criminal justice system and as an alternative justice process. This provides great potential for survivors healing and recovery.

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker / Therapist / Counsellor / Psychologist with a minimum three years post-qualifying experience to join our casework team.
Experience in working with survivors of sexual violence including sexual trauma recovery and family violence is essential. Current membership of a professional body is required. Training and experience in Restorative Justice as a facilitator is preferred. Training and mentoring in our best practice model for RJ as a survivor specialist will be provided in house. You will work as part of a team of three caseworkers working with clients in the South Island and coordinating weekly with our nationwide team via zoom.

About You
The role would suit a passionate, independent practitioner who is seeking to extend/enhance their practice. It’s a fast paced role – juggling multiple cases, so applicants must be well organised and able to hit the ground running.

The position is a part time contract;
• Approximately 8 -15 hours a week
• Capacity to work flexible hours with the ability to increase hours as and when necessary
• Regular travel (air and car) with occasional overnight stays
• Work from home and in a variety of community settings
• Mentoring and training will be provided
• October/November start date
