Team Coach - Community Services

We’re looking for a skilled leader to join Pathways Wellington mobile services team, as a Team Coach. You will ensure the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement in order to ensure our service offering is the best it can be. You will be part of a leadership team of 12 Team Coaches, 3 Service and Relationship Managers and a General Manager. It’s a great time to join our team and contribute to transformational change within the sector.

Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, with after-hours on call on a rotational basis.

The Team

You’ll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and leading a team of 9 people based within our Wellington central office. You will provide regular coaching and be focused on helping every member of your team to exceed their personal best in everything they do. You will be confident in using quality management tools to support your team in providing the best services possible to the community.


We are interested to hear from experienced leaders who have the ability to support and energise a team. As well as having great leadership and people skills, you’ll also have demonstrated the ability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector.

  • You’re a fresh thinker, using curiosity and imagination to generate new ideas
  • You’re energising, inspiring others with enthusiasm and a take action approach
  • You’re a communicator, the sort of positive person who loves supporting, coaching and mentoring your team
  • You’ll have experience and a qualification in health, management or a related discipline
