Team Coach Health and Wellbing and Day Programme

  • Full time, Monday to Friday based in Papatoetoe/Manukau
  • Are you an Occupational therapist or other Registered health professional (Social worker or Nurse)?
  • Do you hold a current NZ registration?

Summary

We’re looking for an inspirational leader to join our Pathways Day Programme site and Health and wellbeing team, as a Team Coach - Registered Health Professional. You will ensure the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement in order to ensure our service offering is the best it can be. You will have experience working in the mental health sector and have knowledge and experience in developing and delivering health and wellbeing programmes and activities.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, with after-hours on call on a rotational basis.

You

We are interested to hear from experienced leaders who have a current registration and the ability to support and inspire a team. We would prefer an occupational therapist but will consider a social worker or nurse. As well as having great leadership, people skills and organizational skills, you’ll also have demonstrated the ability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector.

  • You’re a fresh thinker, using curiosity and imagination to generate new ideas
  • You’re energising, inspiring others with enthusiasm and a take action approach
  • You’re a communicator, the sort of positive person who loves supporting, coaching and mentoring your team
  • You’ll have experience in mental health and a registered health professional qualification.

The Covid-19 Public Health (Vaccination) Order requires the full vaccination of anyone conducting high-risk work in the health and disability sector, or who does not necessarily provide a health service but works in a role that requires frequent contact/engagement with those who do. Therefore, all workers within the Wise Group are required by the Order to be vaccinated.
