The PRIMHD working group is leading ten projects relating to collection processes. Broadly, each project fits into one of three overarching themes:
These projects look at improving systems to make it possible to collect the right information
Improve access to PRIMHD and resolve outstanding PRIMHD reporting issues.

Review all items on the maintenance register and prioritise resolution for those of high priority.

Establish a data quality monitoring process to measure and report on the effect of implementation of the new initiatives/projects delivered under the PRIMHD working group framework.

Te Pou leads two initiatives designed to influence the broader sector and workforce, ultimately improving the quality of the PRIMHD data being collected.
This project will improve consistency in the collection and use of codes nationally, and create resources to support the workforce to better capture and record accurate activity information. There is a particular focus on codes with demonstrated inconsistent use.

This project will develop a resource and provide recommendations for a framework for nationally consistent training in the collection and use of PRIMHD information. It is anticipated that the more the workforce understands what they are collecting, and why it is of value, the better the quality of information being recorded. This project requires working together with the NGO sector.
