Developing a knowledge exchange strategy and action plan for dementia in New Zealand

Publication date: 18 February 2013

The National Dementia Cooperative's Research Action Group is building a knowledge exchange strategy and action plan.

The objective is to enable evidence and knowledge about effective dementia care to be more speedily applied and available to people living with dementia and their carers, in order to achieve best health and well-being outcomes.

The group is one of six action groups formed by the National Dementia Cooperative in 2011 to achieve the cooperative's main purpose of advancing knowledge of approaches to dementia care in New Zealand.

This report contributes to the group's development of a knowledge exchange strategy and action plan.
