Target group: This workshop is aimed at team leaders/managers of agencies/organisations that provide care or support to disabled or elderly people.
Purpose: This workshop will enable participants to identify and clarify the skills required to successfully implement a Performance Appraisal System. Using scripted role-play exercises, they will work through the full process from identifying training needs, professional, workplace and personal needs and turning these into Performance Objectives. We will work through the setting of objectives and the measurement of these, and what to do when it doesn't all go according to plan. This will enable them to adapt these skills to the workplace with their staff. Finally we will discuss effective Performance Appraisal tips that can be immediately implemented in the workplace.
