The second day of the summer school was an evaluation workshop facilitated by Maggie Jakob-Hoff, senior evaluator for Te Pou o te Whakaaro Nui.
Participants were given an opportunity to work through the programme logic process for a planned, or already underway, Equally Well initiative. Three completed programme logic models have been shared on the Loomio subgroup for the workshop attendees. The overall aim of these three models are:
- using pharmacists to improve physical health care of people’s physical and mental illnesses
- to continue to provide a backbone function to collaborative members; create and promote solutions to address physical health disparities with/for those experiencing mental health and addiction problems through collaboration and partnership
- the health prompt is a useful tool for improving health literacy and health outcomes for clients.
The feedback on the day from the workshop participants was positive and affirming.
“Brilliant job – refocused me on the importance and place of logic processes and evaluation.”
