Real Skills online is now available for organisations to sign up and use, following a successful pilot phase.

“We’re delighted to launch Real Skills,” says Ashley Koning, Matua Raki project lead.

“Real Skills is an online tool for worker and organisational self-assessment against a suite of mental health, addiction and disability knowledge and skills frameworks and peer workforce competencies.

“Real Skills will make these established and valuable workforce development tools more accessible and engaging.”

The tool has been developed by Te Pou o te Whakaaro Nui and Matua Raki to provide an easier way for workers, and the organisations they work for, to assess staff knowledge and skills and plan targeted workforce development. Knowledge and skills frameworks such as Let’s get real, Te Whare o Tiki and Let’s get real: Disability are on the online platform, as well as the peer workforce competencies.
