Resilience – the biology of stress and the science of hope
In Jul 2017 Te Pou and Werry Workforce Whāraurau, supported by NGO Pathways, sponsored two New Zealand screenings of the important documentary Resilience – the biology of stress and the science of hope. They did this in conjunction with Janet Peters, a consultant, writer and registered psychologist. Screenings were held in Auckland (13 July) and Wellington (19 July).24 August 2017
Sensory modulation research- now and into the future
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Senior Lecturer Dr Daniel Sutton has recently received a Health Research Council grant for research into sensory modulation as an approach for people experiencing anxiety.14 August 2017
