Jocelyn Bristol is an older nurse, having graduated her nursing training in 1977. She will complete the NESP programme in late-2017 and says, despite her vast experience, the study has increased her confidence and totally enriched her practice.

It is Linda’s role within the Specialist Mental Health Services of the DHB to work with managers to improve the services provided for people with experience of mental health issues. In Jul 2017 Te Pou and Werry Workforce Whāraurau, supported by NGO Pathways, sponsored two New Zealand screenings of the important documentary Resilience – the biology of stress and the science of hope. They did this in conjunction with Janet Peters, a consultant, writer and registered psychologist. Screenings were held in Auckland (13 July) and Wellington (19 July).
