A small number of district health boards have been considering using other health workers to deliver sensory modulation within sensory rooms. This position paper discusses the possibility and makes recommendations.
Evidence based tools are available to support in-patient services to reduce seclusion and restraint, developed by Te Pou with support from the Ministry of Health.
