Laurie Crawford

Evaluator

As an evaluator I work with colleagues across Te Pou and Blueprint to create evidence for the impact that our programmes have. For the most part I design, implement, and report on programme evaluations as well as delving into SROI analysis and process improvement.

Before discovering evaluation, I studied philosophy and psychology. I have a research-focussed Master of Arts in psychology from Massey University and have worked in several mental health roles.

I started evaluating in the public sector in 2017. I’ve worked across multiple subject areas and methodologies, but love being back in the mental health and addictions sector I have such a heart for.

I’m a queer, non-binary pākehā and I use they/them pronouns. I grew up in the Manawatū and moved to Whanganui-a-Tara in 2015. Pōneke has become my home and I have a strong attachment to my community here. In my spare time I do fibre crafts, play boardgames and roleplaying games, and love to cook.
