Ko Philleen Dickson tōku ingoa

I have spent my working career in the mental health sector firstly in lived experience roles and more recently in the employment and mental health sector supporting the establishment and delivery of integrated evidence-based services. My role is to actively support the mahi of Te Pou and the sector ensuring our mahi and culture aligns with our goals and beliefs whilst applying te ao Māori, mātauranga Māori, and tikanga. I believe Māori concepts and narratives can enhance the health and wellbeing of Māori. I also believe everyone has a place at the table for improving Māori health outcomes, each person with knowledge and strengths to contribute to the collective good.

Ma whero, ma pango, ka oti ai te mahi

Co-operation where everyone does their part enables the work to be accomplished.
