Sala is a registered social worker and fulltime health improvement practitioner working across a large Dunedin practice and Te Roopu Tautoko Ki Te Tonga, a Kaupapa Māori service in collaboration with the Dunedin Community Health low-cost clinic. Working across these settings has allowed Sala to be exploratory and innovative, tailoring her approach to best support the communities she serves.
She is currently on the trainer candidate pathway, supported by Master trainer Sarah Redfearn.
