My role is to lead the programme of work for the implementation of the refreshed Let’s get real for working with people and whānau with mental health and addiction needs. I engage with people across the health sector to promote awareness and use of the framework and I work with our team to develop workforce initiatives and resources based on good practice for the sector. As a registered Occupational Therapist, I have held several practice and leadership roles within education, mental health, addictions and social service sectors. Much of my recent work has focused on trauma informed practices. I am also a founding trustee of Kina Families and Addictions Trust, promoting family inclusive practices.

Throughout my career I have maintained a strong interest in developing and supporting services that promote the wellbeing and resilience of children and whānau. I feel very privileged to be able to work with the sector to further this work in my role at Te Pou.
