For the past five years, the Consumer, Peer Support and Lived Experience (CPSLE) workforce has been guided by a strategy and action plan developed by Te Pou alongside the sector. As we reach the end of this plan, it’s time to shape the next CPSLEW (now including whanau roles) workforce development strategy together.
The new strategy needs strong input from the Māori and Pacific CPSLE and whānau workforce. For this purpose we’re excited to invite Māori and Pacific CPSLE & whānau leaders to a hui on Tuesday 28 October, 9am to 2.30pm at Papakura Marae, 29 Hunua Rd.
This is a chance to wānanga/ talanoa our hopes and dreams for a new CPSLE and whānau mental health and addiction workforce development strategy – and explore what will truly support and strengthen our workforce and the people we support.
Register now – spaces are limited, so get in quick!
For more information, contact Malcolm McKenna or Gina Giordani, who will be leading the hui at livedexperience@tepou.co.nz
