Are you a senior nurse seeking diversity in your career with a passion for working in mental health? If so, this could be the role for you!
About us
Te Whatu Ora Waitematā serves the communities of North and West Auckland and the Rodney District, dedicated to delivering public healthcare. We are committed to the “best care for everyone” – to the patient, their whānau, the community and iwi, and the healthcare workforce.
About the role
An exciting opportunity is available to provide clinical leadership in our West Acute Mental Health team. This challenging and rewarding position requires a special person with demonstrated clinical and operational leadership skills who is well organised, flexible, and relates well to others.
As a coordinator, you will incorporate leadership and coordination of clinical service delivery, ensuring best practice is adhered to, along with employee supervision.
As there is a requirement to supervise and oversee clinicians' workload, the need to demonstrate experience in managing your own workload is essential.
You will need the following:
- A relevant tertiary health qualification in nursing
- Current annual practising certificate
- Previous experience in a variety of mental health settings, including the community
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Full driver's licence
- Good sense of humour
