The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

As our Clinical Director, you’ll lead clinical excellence and uphold best-practice standards across all Pathways and Real services.

This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who thrives in strategic leadership, governance, and supporting multidisciplinary teams nationwide.

You’ll provide organisation-wide leadership ensuring best practice, trauma-informed care, wellbeing-focused models, and our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity are embedded in everything we do.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading clinical risk assessment and quality improvement
  • Building strong partnerships with Health NZ MH&A Clinical Directors, primary care, NGOs, and internal teams
  • Offering trusted clinical advice to the Executive Team
  • Supporting the development of clinical, support, and peer workforces
  • Contributing psychiatric expertise with at least five years’ experience in mental health and addiction services

This role can be part-time or full-time for the right candidate and is based on our Auckland or Wellington office.
