Clinical Team Leader - Residential

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Clinical Team Leader for our residential program based in Hamilton.

About the Role:

We are seeking the full-time services of a dynamic and experienced Clinical Team Leader to lead a team of health professionals. The position is based in Hamilton and involves leading our Midland Bridge Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment Services.

What will your responsibilities be:

  • The Residential Team Leader, Midland is responsible for maintaining and ensuring a high standard of day-to-day clinical practice, both in individual and group contact settings
  • Leads the delivery of effective treatment services for individuals experiencing difficulties in relation to their recovery from substance dependence and those experiencing co-existing problems of addiction and mental health.
  • Work within the framework of The Salvation Army Bridge Community Reinforcement Approach model of treatment.
  • Ensure best practice through quality improvement and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • On-Call Duties: available for on-call consultation and call-out as rostered.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Proven experience in leadership of residential alcohol and other drug addiction treatment services.
  • Degree and Registration in Addictions or related field i.e. Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or Psychology
  • Experience facilitating groups and case management with people experiencing co-existing problems in the Alcohol and Drug field.
  • Excellent human resource leadership skills, including proven conflict resolution and staff relationship skills and experience
  • Effective communication skills, able to deliver professional presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Able to work within the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and have the ability and confidence to build and strengthen partnerships with Mana Whenua and community networks.
  • Be contract literate, able to deliver measurable outcomes within time frames.
  • Contribute innovative solutions that support retention and expansion of contracts and funding.
  • Strong administrative skills, including significant computer skills (managing and monitoring database material, extracting reports, report writing)
  • The ability to work as a team member while evidencing effective self-management and organization.

This role is permanent role and hours worked will be 40 per week.

The starting salary for this role will fall between $95,250.00 and $122,400.00

The starting hourly rate for this role will fall between $45.00 and $58.00
