The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, using your occupational therapy expertise to help people thrive in their communities. It’s all about empowerment, inclusion, and supporting people to live their best lives.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:
- Keeping whānau at the heart of everything we do
- Providing top-notch assessments, treatment, and reviews
- Supporting meaningful occupation for tāngata whai ora, taiohi and whānau
- Leading with innovation and a wellbeing-first mindset
- Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborating on support plans that reflect physical, emotional, and spiritual goals
- Working closely with internal and external services
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5pm
About You | Mōu
You will have:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current NZ registration
- Must have a current annual practicing certificate
- A current full, clean New Zealand driver’s license.
- A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
- An understanding of what you need for your own wellbeing.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
