The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

We’re looking for a registered health professional (social worker or AOD Practitioner) to join our dedicated OST team in Masterton. You’ll provide specialised assessment and treatment for individuals with opioid dependence, working alongside a compassionate team and supported by our Senior Medical Officer and Clinical Nurse Specialist.

  • Deliver care aligned with Ministry of Health OST guidelines
  • Support Tangata through all phases of recovery
  • Collaborate with primary care, justice, and health agencies
  • Be part of a team that values cultural responsiveness and whānau-focused recovery
  • Have experience in Addictions and Mental Health

If you don’t have the necessary AOD/Mental Health qualifications but feel you have the experience we need and would be willing to gain the necessary post graduate certificate in understanding addictions, then we would also love to hear from you.

Hours include Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5pm.

About You | Mōu

You will be:

  • A NZ Registered Health Professional with a current annual practicing certificate within mental health scope of practice.
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to continuing personal and professional development within RN scope of practice.
  • Have knowledge of mental health nursing theory, practice, legal boundaries, and ethical concerns.
