The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

Join our team as a Registered Nurse within the Opioid Substitution Treatment Service in the Wairarapa, where we offer specialised assessment and treatment for individuals with opioid dependence disorder. If you’re looking for a change of pace, to join a dynamic team who are supporting people with their recovery goals and have experience working in Mental Health and Addictions spaces, we would love to hear from you.

  • Our team provides support through various phases of care, collaborating with primary care, justice departments, and healthcare agencies to ensure timely access to treatment.

  • You will be supported by our Senior Medical Officer and Nurse Practitioner

This role is fixed term until 27 July 2026. This role is working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

About You | Mōu

You will be:

  • A NZ Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate within mental health scope of practice.
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to continuing personal and professional development within RN scope of practice.
  • Have knowledge of mental health nursing theory, practice, legal boundaries, and ethical concerns.
