The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

In your role as a Registered Nurse within our mobile team, you will establish meaningful bonds with individuals and families, promoting their overall well-being through expert assessment, compassionate care, and ongoing educational growth.

You will engage in collaborative efforts to enhance the quality of care, where your specialised knowledge is highly valued. You will work alongside support workers and clinical teams to optimise care for tangata whai ora.

Some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Use nursing knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate tāngata whai ora/taiohi/whānau health needs.
  • Provide direct nursing care for whai ora or taiohi to achieve best health outcomes.
  • Evaluate service user outcomes and report variance to clinical pathway or best practice guidelines.
  • Educate and provide information to whai ora/taiohi/whānau to improve knowledge of illness, self-management, and prevention of complications and promotion of recovery.

Role available: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

About You | Mōu

  • You will be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate with mental health and addiction experience, dedicated to trauma-informed care.
  • Have a demonstrated commitment to continuing personal and professional development within RN scope of practice.
  • Have knowledge of mental health nursing theory, practice, legal boundaries, and ethical concerns.
  • A clean, full NZ driver’s licence
