MASH Trust is undergoing an extensive programme of work to transform how we deliver and manage services for the people we support, as well as how we manage our personnel, finances, and reporting.
We are seeking a Rosters and Operations Service Manager to support the Rosters and Operations Team through this transformational change to become Fit for Future. This role is critical in leading a team of 8 Roster and Operations Coordinators as we implement new rostering and operational systems. You will provide continuity of service while guiding the team to understand new systems and processes.
You will need to hit the ground running, working with best practices in rostering to a base roster, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting change within the team and the wider organisation.
About the Role: This is a fixed-term role for 12 months as we work to understand the future needs of MASH Trust while navigating significant changes. There is potential for the role to become permanent following the successful implementation of the new enterprise system.
This fixed term role is full-time working 80 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
· Overseeing the rostering and operational functions for over 500 staff across more than 60 locations.
· Ensuring efficient and effective coordination of staff schedules within budget.
· Managing and supporting a team of 8 Roster and Operations Coordinators.
· Leading the implementation of new rostering modules within a new enterprise system, evolving current systems and processes.
· Driving transformation and fostering innovative thinking within the team.
Skills and experience required:
· Strong leadership and management skills.
· Experience in rostering and operations within the health or disability sector.
· Proven experience in system transformation and process improvement.
· Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
· Ability to think creatively and implement new ways of working.
