This Tainui whakatauaakii urges us to develop connections and to work collaboratively towards a common vision. We are looking for a visionary and forward-thinking Senior Clinician Social Worker to work with us to improve equity and health outcomes for tamariki (children) and rangatahi (youth) at Te Puawaitanga covering the Manukau, Manurewa, Papakura & Franklin region.
This Senior Clinician role is a designated position, that utilises well developed clinical expertise and competencies to deliver and support high standards of clinical practice and service planning/development by providing clinical leadership within CAMHS. In your role, you will also assist in developing the clinical capability of others, take a lead in setting standards, quality assurance and improvement and research activities relevant to the area of expertise.
This role is based with the Te Puawaitanga team where the majority of the clinical mahi will occur (managing a clinical caseload). In addition, other aspects of the role relating to quality improvement, service development, and clinical leadership.

Essential:
- Registration with the New Zealand Social Work Registration Board
- Current Social Work Annual Practising Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience working as a Social Worker
- Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health & Addictions
- Full clean drivers licence with no limitations
Preferred
- Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health
