About the role
Reporting to the Service Manager (Specialist Mental Health Services), this position is fundamental to the cohesive and efficient running of service delivery across the board.
This opportunity has all the elements of an interesting, sometimes challenging, but overall rewarding role where no two days are alike, providing an opportunity to demonstrate your outstanding administration and coordination skills, your ability to work autonomously, and your use of initiative.
As the Service Administrator, you will be providing efficient and timely administrative support that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.
Day-to-day responsibilities include administering roster changes for psychiatry registrars, organising meetings and agendas, taking minutes, coordinating complaints, processing expense claims and study requests, coordinating and processing reports, onboarding, plus general administration and support for the wider team.

About you
As this is a dynamic and busy environment, we are looking for someone who is experienced and organised, with a strong ability to prioritise competing demands efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a background in a variety of high-level administration positions and advanced computer skills. You will be self-motivated, with the ability to initiate and anticipate change, along with flexibility in your thinking.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following:
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, prioritisation, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution-focused
- Sound communication skills and strong computer skills
