The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Strong leadership or service management experience in health, social services, or community-based services
  • An awareness of hepatitis C, harm reduction, and working with marginalised populations
  • A Tertiary level qualification (L6/L7) e.g. Bachelors in Health Promotion, is desirable
  • A deep understanding of harm reduction, equity, and mana-enhancing practice
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary or peer-led teams is highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to travel and work across different sites (full driving license required)
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to Māori health equity
  • A full current New Zealand driver’s license
