The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a permanent, full-time role, working Tuesday - Saturday, 3pm- 11:30pm, based in Hamilton.

In this role you will:

· Support tāngata whai ora to build daily living skills and increase independence

· Assist with meal planning, preparation, and maintaining a healthy home environment

· Support with appointments and engagement with community services

· Provide medication support in line with care plans and organisational policy

· Encouraging healthy routines and well-being practices

· Build respectful, recovery focused relationships based on trust and consistency

· Complete accurate documentation and work collaboratively within the wider team and other stakeholders

You | Mōu

  • You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
