Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This Team coach role is based in Feilding at the St Dominics site, overseeing our Housing and Recovery Service which supports whai ora to work toward greater independence.
In this residential setting, your team will walk alongside tāngata whai ora in achieving their goals – whether that’s managing appointments, shopping, preparing meals, building routines, or maintaining their home. The focus is on empowering people through practical support and connection.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Attend leadership team meetings and participate in Team Coach development sessions
- Contribute to a national rostered after-hours service on a rotating basis
- Working alongside primary and secondary care services, and the wider community
- Providing regular coaching and inspiring your team
- Living your values at work and making a difference
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, with rotating after-hours on-call responsibilities.
Mōu | You
You will have:
- A current NZ registration in Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
- Clinical experience in mental health and addiction
- A full NZ driver’s licence
- Cultural competence in working with Māori and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Proven leadership experience
- A current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
